This 3 day combination tour offers an opportunity to experience both beauty of Mount Kilimanjaro and the incredible wildlife in Tanzania. It designed for adventurers with limited time, this package includes a short trek on Kilimanjaro, giving you a glimpse of the iconic mountain, your adventure begins with a day hike on Kilimanjaro (Marangu gate -Mandar hut). As you trek through lush forests and take in breathtaking views, the crisp mountain air will leave you feeling refreshed and energized. Although you won’t reach the summit, the climb provides a profound sense of accomplishment and unforgettable scenery. After the trek, the adventure continues with safari game drives you will start at Tarangire National Park and other day at Ngorongoro Crater. These parks are the iconic home to an abundance of wildlife, including elephants, lions, zebras, cape buffalo, black rhinoceros and other species of wildlife. .

DAY O - Arrival - Kilimanjaro

After arrival in Tanzanian from Moshi/Kilimanjaro airport, where you will meet a KITANO TOURS AND SAFARIS guide representative who will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel at Moshi. (For budget hotels at KILIMANJARO WHITE HOUSE HOTEL) The hotel will provide all the essentials service for a comfortable stay, Settle into your accommodation, relax and get used to the African atmosphere. Ready to start your tour on the next day.

Day 1: Arusha - Kilimanjaro Day Hike (Marangu Gate – Mandara Hut – Maundi

Your adventure begins with a day hike on Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu Route. After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Moshi and driven to Marangu Gate (1,860 meters / 6,102 ft). Once the necessary paper work has been completed, you will be starting your trek through the lush rainforest zone, home to colorful birds and playful monkeys. The trail to Mandara Hut (2,715 meters / 8,907 ft) takes about 3 to 4 hours of moderate hiking. Upon reaching Mandara, enjoy a rest and a picnic lunch while taking in the surrounding beauty. Afterward, a short walk leads to Maundi Crater, offering sweeping views of northern Tanzania and Kenya on clear days. Take some time to soak in the scenery and snap a few photos before descending. In the afternoon, you’ll make your way back to Marangu Gate and return to Moshi for dinner and overnight at a lodge or hotel.

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Leave Moshi early in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, home to massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and an array of wildlife. Enjoy a full day of game drives, and you get a chance to spot lions, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests. Relax at a picnic spot for lunch amidst the scenic wilderness. In the late afternoon, return to a lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: NGORONGORO CRATER - ARUSHA

We will have an early start to the day to ensure that we complete the itinerary for the day which includes a magnificent game drive with a picnic lunch in the crater. Animals infrequently migrate in and out of the crater due to its elevated walls. This means you are capable of spotting every member of the big five in one day. The big five comprises of buffalo, elephants, rhinos, lions and leopards. Some of the other wildlife that you can expect to see includes zebras, hippo, wildebeest and hyenas. The craters also feature an extensive bird population including geese, storks and vultures. After a picnic lunch you will have a game drive thereafter in the late afternoon you will drive back to Arusha Town.
