Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by Kitano tours and safari term and transferred to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. Take this time to rest, acclimate to the altitude, and prepare yourself for the trek that lies ahead. Meet your fellow trekkers and ensure you have all the necessary equipment and gear for the climb.

Days 2: Starting the Trek from Londorossi Gate to Shira 1 Camp

After a hearty breakfast, you'll be driven to the Londorossi Gate, the starting point of your 6-day Shira Route. Here, you'll complete the necessary registration formalities and meet your entire trekking team. As you venture into the lush rainforest, the beauty of the surrounding nature will captivate you. Keep an eye out for unique flora and fauna along the trail. Today's trek will take you to the Shira 1 Camp, located at an elevation of approximately 3,500 meters (11,500 feet).

Days 3: Trekking from Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp

Days 5: Climbing from Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp

On this day, you'll ascend from Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp, bringing you closer to the summit. The day's trek begins with conquering the challenging Barranco Wall, requiring careful footwork and some scrambling. As you conquer this obstacle, the trail evens out, offering a chance to appreciate the mesmerizing scenery. After passing through Karanga Camp, situated at approximately 4,000 meters (13,100 feet), you'll face steeper terrain, ultimately reaching Barafu Camp at around 4,600 meters (15,200 feet).
