ABOUT 6 DAYS SERENGETI WILDEBEEST MIGRATION SAFARI - CALVING SEASON
This 6 days wildebeest Serengeti migration safari- calving season from January – march it give a great opportunity to get the chance to see and view a wildebeest migration are given calving on the southern Serengeti in ndutu plain. Between January and March, the herds are usually in the south of Tanzania’s Serengeti where they seek out fresh grazing. The wildebeest make their way as far south as the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (although not quite into the Crater itself), where they spread out across the lush plains to feast on the fresh grasses that spring up after the rains. These plains, with their abundance of nourishment, are also the perfect place for female wildebeest to give birth. Roughly 960,000 of these wildebeest are pregnant females which will drop their calves over 14 days between late December, January and early March
