11 Days Northern Circuit Kilimanjaro Journey

>>> After breakfast, you will drive to Londorossi Gate for registration. The trek starts with a hike through the lush rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,650 meters). This short hike is a gentle introduction to the journey.

>>> Leaving the rainforest, the trek continues across the moorland to Shira 1 Camp (3,500 meters). This day offers panoramic views of the mountain and the surrounding landscape.

You will trek across the Shira Plateau, reaching Shira 2 Camp (3,850 meters). This moderate trek helps with acclimatization and provides stunning views of Kilimanjaro.

The journey continues to Moir Hut (4,200 meters), situated at the base of Lent Hills. This day involves a trek across the alpine desert, offering excellent acclimatization opportunities.

You will trek from Moir Hut to Buffalo Camp (4,020 meters), passing through the remote northern slopes of Kilimanjaro. The trail offers spectacular views of the Kenyan plains.

Today's trek takes you to Third Cave (3,870 meters), continuing around the northern circuit. The route is less traveled, providing a peaceful and scenic journey.

You will ascend from Third Cave to School Hut (4,800 meters), which is your base for the summit attempt. The trek offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the summit.

Summit day begins at midnight, with a challenging ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters), the highest point in Africa. After celebrating at the summit, you will descend to Mweka Camp (3,100 meters) for a well-deserved rest.

On the final day, you will trek down to Mweka Gate. After receiving your summit certificate, you will be driven back to Arusha for a well-deserved rest and celebration.

You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure, concluding your incredible Kilimanjaro adventure.
