1 DAY SHIRA PLATEAU CYCLING TOUR

In the Beautifully Shira plateau you’ll do your cycle through forest and health moorland zones. You’ll get a fantastic opportunity to see Primates and some larger game animals in the rugged landscape of shira plateau which is the most scenic route to Mount Kilimanjaro while cycling. On a clear day, you will see breathtaking views of Kibo peak as you cycle towards the helipad and enjoy different vegetations.

DAY 0: Arrival (Kilimanjaro Airport) – Moshi

Upon arrival at Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport, your Tanzania KITANO TOURS AND SAFARIS guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi Tanzania. in Moshi Tanzania (for budget hotels we recommend KILIMANJARO WHITE HOUSE HOTEL). Settle into your accommodation, relax and get used to the African atmosphere. Ready to start your 1Day BIKE TOUR CYCLE TOUR SHIRA PLATEAUthe next day. Moshi is a town in northern Tanzania, near the Kenyan border. It's known as a gateway to Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Trails run up the mountain’s cloud-ringed, snow-capped dome, through alpine forests and meadows home to elephants and leopards. One of Tanzania's major coffee-producing hubs, Moshi is known for its coffee farms and auctions.

DAY 1: MOSHI-CYCLE TOUR SHIRA PLATEAU- BACK TO MOSHI

At 700hrs. You will be transferred from your hotel in Moshi to the Londorossi Gate on the western side of Mt. Kilimanjaro where your tour begins. First, you will cycle through the forest zone followed by the heather and moorland zone as you head towards the helipad on the Shira Plateau. You will then turn back and enjoy a relaxing downhill ride back to Londorossi Gate where your tour ends.

You will then be picked up and transferred back to your hotel in Moshi.
